I am a Graphic Designer

For many, schooling is the best route for learning the tricks and tips to a trade, for others on the job training is just as effective. For me it, was a little bit of both! I recieved an Associates Degree in Graphic Technologies from Clover Park Technical College. My time at CPTC mainly focused on the technical aspects of the career. Five years of working at a small design firm really pushed my ability to find creative solutions for designing for print and digital applications, as well as developing branding and logos. The following is a showcase of both.

Print Design

Print is most definitely not dead. In many ways its just changed. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to design many different pieces of print including stationary, flyers, brochures, greeting cards, display booths, posters, and even digital marketing pieces like eblasts and social media ads. I foresee this continuing to be major part of marketing life well into the future.

Logo and Brand Development

For most companies, and even individuals, branding is often what creates the most recognizable piece of a company's marketing and persona. Developing a logo that has instant recognition is only a part of the puzzle. Understanding that a brand goes beyond just the logo and entail color, font, and imagery, is what really makes a brand come alive. Whether it's my own brand, or other's, here are some brands I've either had a part in concepting for logo development or designing the final product.
